Hythe High Street, Kent.

This project involved the conversion of a former post office building situated in the Hythe conservation area into two, four bedroom dwellings arranged over three floors.

We also obtained planning consent for a terrace of three, three storey units and a single detached three storey unit to the rear of the site.

The site was extremely complicated and an existing retaining wall to the rear of the site had to be retained which limited the ground floor amenity space.

We provided a new external steel frame at first floor level, to the rear of the terrace, which provided ground floor car parking below with terrace and garden facilities above accessed from the first floor. The living and dining rooms were provided at first floor level with three bedrooms on the second floor.
